The upcoming training course on Humanitarian Assistance in West Africa is jointly organized by the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (KAIPTC) and the Austrian Study Centre for Peace and Conflict Resolution (ASPR), supported by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) and the Austrian Federal Ministry of Defence and Sports (MODS). The course will takes place at the premises of KAIPTC in Accra/Ghana, from 02 – 13 October 2017.
The aim of the course is to improve effectiveness of humanitarian assistance by providing participants with thorough knowledge and skill of the humanitorian sector and enhancing interaction and mutual understanding between Civilian, police and military actors involved in the humanitorian assistance and disaster relief in West Africa region.
The course tragets practitioners and experts from civil, military and police organizations in Africa, who already working in the field or about to engage in humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations particularly in West Africa.
